Blackmagic Design DeckLink Video
From release 2018.2
Support has been added for the Blackmagic Design DeckLink video card range.
Blackberry r006 driver download for windows. DeckLink support is monitoring only, not ingest or playout of video.
We have tested :
- DeckLink 12g Extreme 4K card with HDMI
- Plus optional 4 Link SDI Adapter
- HD Mini Monitor
Other DeckLink cards should work but have not been tested. Only features that are available on the installed card will be exposed in the setup menu.

Quicktime
Please note that Quicktime for Windows was deprecated in April 2016 due to security flaws (link).
Release 2018.1 includes a new ProRes implementation to replace the reliance on Quicktime.
In the console, this is shown as DV ProRes Read v1.14 and DV ProRes Write v1.14.
You will still require QuickTime to support the import of files that require legacy QuickTime Codecs.
The supported version of Apple Quicktime is included in the application installers.

On the same day both AJA and Blackmagic Design published new drivers for their video I/O devices. Just a tweak for BMD, but a new unified driver across products for AJA.
Not the biggest headline news, but good to see that development keeps rolling on with new software for existing products. This time video I/O drivers from AJA Video Systems and Blackmagic Design.
AJA has announced version 12.1 which is available for download from here. (Click on any video product.) Finding the right driver for a product by scrolling through the download section of a website is always a pain, so we're pleased that they have now adopted a 'single driver' approach.
'AJA today released new v12.1 software for Mac and Windows, for the first time providing a single unified all-in-one device driver and Plug-in installer per platform for all currently shipping AJA edit and streaming hardware. Just one word of warning, if you are the middle of an important project, it's probably not a good idea to rush into installing these updates. Both companies don't test every possible hardware & software combination, so don't be the person who finds a problem. Both sites do have access to previous driver versions.
